Labor Day Retreat 2026 - Fishers of Men

This event is presented by the Utah Bible Encampment committee, a group of Utah Christians from Utah Churches of Christ. The theme for 2026 is Fishers of Men, held from September 4th with our singing at 6:30pm, through Labor Day weekend, with classes and studies on Saturday 9/5, worship, classes and studies on Sunday 9/6, and a morning class on Labor Day, Monday 9/7.

Park Rules
Fire Restrictions
Due to current and forecasted weather conditions coupled with dry vegetation in the Spanish Fork City South Bench Neighborhoods, Incorporated River Bottoms, Reservoir, Recreation, and Campground areas, the Fire & EMS Chief has determined that measures must be taken to prevent the ignition of wildland fires.
The following acts are prohibited in the areas described until rescinded by the
Spanish Fork Fire & EMS Chief:

Open fires of any kind.

Charcoal cooking.
-
Discharging or use of any fireworks, tracer ammunition, or other pyrotechnic devices, including sky lanterns.

Cutting, welding, grinding of metals in areas of dry vegetation.
-
Operating a motorcycle, UTV, ATV, or other small internal combustion engine without an approved and working spark arrestor.
Dogs Prohibited
As per Spanish Fork ordinances (6.08.160, Animals Prohibited Areas) dogs are not allowed in the pavilions or the beach areas of the park. The exception is trained service animals. In the campground area you are allowed dogs on leashes, and you must clean up after them.

The closest RV Camping to the reservoir is the Spanish Fork Gun Club RV Parking.

Cost: Rates generally range from $30 to $35 per night.
If spots are full at the gun club, there is the Canyon View RV Park just down the road, on Powerhouse Road.
